Alumni means a person was once associated with the institution, but it cannot be so.. its a lifetime association of a person with his alma mater...

SOSA was born in 2002 as a registered forum..always active but revolutionised on the silver jubilee year of the institution (2013). The celebration was organised by the first batch students who celebrated their 25 years of dentistry as well...This kindled every alumni and then after it became a pride for every batch to celebrate their 25th year from joining the institution as their alumni celebration of their own..From then every year between the months of August and October the alumni meet is conducted by the silver jubilee batch which makes it more lively. Over 1000 participants with 400 odd from abroad makes it eventful year after year..Its not just a meet for fun it hosts periodical meetings, CDE programmes, faculty development programs and so on...They just don come and go but do contribute to the institution in the form of funds, books and so on..

Roots are here but our bryophyllums go global. We have our alumni placed in various renowned universities and hospitals across the world in prestigious posts. Everywhere we just need to tell our institutions name and they know who we are. Is that all, no there are people nourishing the roots over 72 faculty of the 150 here are our own alumni! Holding various posts as Head of the Department, Associate deans and Professors.

I belong to the 1990 batch of Saveetha, I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to this beautiful institution, for having given me a strong foundation for my successful career in dentistry. I am very fortunate and blessed to have been taught, guided and inspired by all my beloved teachers. I am eternally grateful to our beloved dean ckd sir and our esteemed chancellor Dr.N.M.Veeriyan sir for what I am today. I feel so proud to be an alumni of this great University.

Homely atmosphere, world class facilities, legends as professors, well stocked library, excellent patient flow and encouraging faculties. UG at Saveetha equal to PG in all clinical fields of dentistry.

Dr.Sujatha Gopal Sooraparaju,Vice-Principal, MNR Dental College, Andhra Pradesh. — **Dr.Sujatha Gopal Sooraparaju,Vice-Principal, MNR Dental College, Andhra Pradesh**.

Dr.Sujatha Gopal Sooraparaju graduated from our institution during 1991-1995. After her under-graduation she went on to do her post-graduation on Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics after which her academic thirst lead her to an institution as a Senior Lecturer from there on she travelled to be a Vice-Principal, MNR Dental College, Andhra Pradesh now.

**Dr.Venkat Prasad, Principal, Priyadarshini Dental College, Chennai**

Dr. M.K.Venkat Prasad did his under graduation during the year 1992-1996. He decided to be a prosthodontist after his under-graduation. Inspired to be a teacher joined in Saveetha Dental College itself as a Senior lecturer worked in several other institutions in India and abroad. Cleared various examinations in USA, UK,Australia and Newzealand. And currently he is the Principal, Priyadarshini Dental College, Chennai.

Dr. P. Rajesh, did his Post graduation in Saveetha Dental College on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery who also thrived to be an academician joined in an institution and travelled to be Principal, Chettinad Dental College, Chennai.

Dr.Sunitha educated herself as a dentist during the year 1989-1994. She went on to do DMD from NOVA South Eastern University in 2000. She also holds various prestigious posts in American Dental Association, Federation Dental Association and American General Dentist. Being a foreign national in USA her establishment is spectacular.

Dr.Rajarajeswari, Pursued her BDS, during the year 1992-1997. She did her Post graduation in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery And currently is the consultant-NHS, BUPA<AVIVA and PRU Health recognised. She is an examiner in the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons England.

Dr.Preethi Mohan, Did her under graduation in our institution during 1991-1996, She pursued her MS (Dental Materials) IUPUI, School of Dentistry. DDS(UIC College of Dentistry).She is a renowned practitioner in USA and had won Scholarship Award for exceptional commitment in care of others.

Dr.Dhamodharan Kosanam, Dis BDS during 1991-1996. He Pursued his DDS in Canada and is one the leading practitioners in Canada today.

Dr.Alexander M.Simon Did his under graduation in our institution between 1991-1996. He moved on to Uk to do his M.Med Science,Ireland. Then further took forward his career by doing DDS in USA and proves to be a exemplary practitioner in USA

Dr.Murali Srinivasan, became an BDS graduate in 1997, Pursued his doctorate in Switzerland and is now a Senior Research Associate and Lecturer, University of Geneva, Switzerland.
